Be spontaneous. We'll take care of the rest

Funsoon is all about giving you the best tools possible to plan events for you and your friends. We understand how hard it is to make sure everybody in a group knows when and where to be, let alone questions like how many people are coming, who needs to bring what, or even figuring out what you should do when you get together.

We provide you an event creation system that lets you put in the important details of when and where, allows you to create a survey for your guests so you know how to plan the best event possible (or settle on the best event to plan). We provide maps to the event, and have a system for organizing carpools. Our group service allows you to share a community with your friends or an organization, and gives you an easy way to issue continuing events or organize a community.

Funsoon started as a group of close friends who wanted a better way to organize events for their friends. We started as a group of RAs living in the same dorm at Stanford. One of our responsibilities is planning events for the dorm and for our friends. Disappointed with the other event planning services available, we decided to start our own. So far, we're very pleased with how Funsoon has helped us to have exactly what its name states: have fun, and we hope you will too!

Hai Nguyen likes playing poker, going to the beach, and cooking. His room is referred to as “Hai Steak House” for the combination of friendly gambling and delicious tri-tip. He's also an Aerospace Engineer in the Master's program at Stanford.

Nghia Vuong loves things that fly, drawing things, and general mischief. Though he is not personally capable of flight, he also does not doctor his photos. He is a recent graduate from Stanford's Aerospace Master's program.

Daniel Horn likes playing board games, quirky humor, and playing practical jokes. His April Fool's jokes are legendary, and cannot be mentioned here to preserve the dignity of many thousands of people. He works as hard as he plays, getting his Phd in Computer Science at Stanford after going to undergrad at Berkeley.

Wishing you a better day each day,
